Experience

For twenty years, OATS' highly-qualified lubricant professionals have been gathering manufacturers' recommendations on vehicle and machinery lubricants. Recommendations are then detailed in terms of international standards and OEM specifications.

Consistency and Accuracy

OATS' team of industry professionals maintain regular contact with more than 1,200 manufacturers. Each piece of information goes through a validation process. The database is currently updated four times a year to ensure the data you receive is current and accurate.

The lubricant codes used within the database are based, where possible, on internationally accepted standards for lubricants such as ACEA, API , and JASO etc. Where no appropriate standard exists, a code is created referencing end use, e.g. ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid), or a manufacturer's specification, e.g. TO-4 (Caterpillar Transmission Oil – 4)
