The driver line up, which consists of Adderly Fong, David Cheng and Ho-Pin Tung, is the first ever exclusively Chinese roster in the race’s 82-year history.

The team will be driving the No. 33 Ligier JS P2-Honda in the LMP2 class for the gruelling 24-hour race.

Fong, who won last year’s Audi R8 LMS Cup, is no stranger to success and believes his chances of success in the Ligier are high.

In a recent interview with Fox Sports, Patrice Devemy, General Manager of Total Lubricants China claimed “a great challenge” lay ahead of the team, both in terms of defending their existing titles and also in guaranteeing a good result in the Le Mans 24hr race.

“I am very pleased that we could further extend our cooperation for this event, having a squad of three Chinese pilots the year of the 50th anniversary of the cooperation between France and China”, said Devemy.

The three drivers have been touring the country's major cities to promote the event and educate the public about the sport.
