Peugeot launches worlds smallest dealership

Peugeot Russell Square dealership address is a famous London telephone box.

With the rise of the mobile phone, London's famous red telephone boxes are becoming redundant.  But French carmaker Peugeot has put one to good use in Russell Square - the heart of London's West End.

To stunt is to publicise the success of its Order Online website. Peugeot claims the site has now hosted more than one million users, completing more than 134,000 vehicle configurations, since its launch in January 2017.  They were, however, less forthcoming about the number of vehicles actually sold, other than to state the first online order was made within 12 hours of the site going live.

To celebrate their stated success, the company set-up the World's Smallest Dealership.

Inside the phone box, which requires a special code to gain access, a tablet is connected directly to Peugeot's e-commerce portal.  Potential buyers can then configure their vehicle choice, seek a part-exchange valuation or finance option.  If they're happy with all of that, they can then order their new car there and then via the portal.
