Korean students win Ferrari Design prize
Students from South Korea's Seoul Hongik University have won Ferrari's World Design Contest.

The competition, which was open to 50 of the world's top design-based universities around the world, was won by Eternità, a stunning design by Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahngseok, beating entries from Turin (Italy) and London (UK).
Ferrari's brief was to design a thoroughbred sportscar which combined extreme design elements and leading-edge technology. The students had to design the car in 2D, then 3D and finally a phusical 1:4 scale model.
Extreme design, however, needed to be balanced with reducing fuel consumption, through hybrid or other engine technology, and reducing weight.
Runner up in the competition was Xeri, designed by Turin student Samir Sadikhov from Azerbaijan, with Cavallo Bianco in thrid place, designed by Britain's Henry Cloke and China's Qi Haitao, both students at London's Royal College of Art (RCA).
On hand to present the prizes were Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo, CEO Amedeo Felisa and Chairman of the legendary auto design Pininfarina Group, Paolo Pininfarina.
