Star Wars geeks, particularly those who have actually spent millions of dollars to own a giant Millennium Falcon as flown by Hans Solo and his hairy sidekick, Chewbacca, can now rest easy in event of a breakdown.
World renowned publishers, Haynes, have released a service manual for the Modified YT-1300 Corellian Freighter - otherwise known as the Millennium Falcon. The cargo craft was one of the iconic modes of transport in the Star Wars films and the manual includes everything a Falcon owner might need to keep their spaceship functioning smoothly.
Fans of the movie series will know that Solo's ship was not the most reliable in the Universe, with the hapless commander often having to resort to a swift kick to the instrument array to engage the hyperdrive.
The manual even includes details of Chewbacca's hologame table and a history of other spacecraft from the Corellian manufacturing stable. The book is written by Star Wars expert, Ryder Windham, who has become a highly respected authority on the subject with some 50 books to his name.
Haynes have not only become famous their highly detailed, authoritative service manuals for a wide range of cars, motorcycles, boats and even military vehicles and aircraft, but also for more esoteric handbooks such as Star Trek's USS Enterprise and Men's Cooking.
