Shell aviation deal in UAE

Bookmark and Share

Shell Aviation has signed a new distribution agreement for the United Arab Emirates.

The deal, with the Abu Dhabi-based Al Jaber Group, will involve Al Jaber setting up a new distribution centre in Dubai.  Initially the agreement will focus on distribution of Shell Aviation lubes to Shell customers, with a joint customer service alliance providing commercial and technical support from both companies.

Al Jaber may profit further from the alliance, as Shell uses third party distributors across the Middle East to supply specialist aviation lubes and greases, as well as running branded operations in UAE and Oman.  The deal extends the already existing relationship in other lubes sectors between Shell and the Al Jaber Group.
