Petronas Dagangan to supply Proton
Malaysia's Petronas Dagangan is set to be the exlusive supplier of automotive lubricants for car maker Proton Edar.
The 10-year deal is for local supply and technical collaboration, seeing Petronas provide its Syntium product range to Proton. This local arrangement follows the deal signed by the two companies' parents Petronal Lubricants International and Proton earlier this year.
The contract is expected to bring some RM260m ($84m) worth of revenue for the Syntium business.
