WD-40, makers of one of the world's best know multipurpose lubricants, reported a doubling of 2nd Quarter profits.

Earnings rose to $10.7m for the quarter ending February 2010, more than double the $4.1m earned for the same period last year.  The increase was put down to a significant lift in sales and the company, which also makes other household products, is expecting net sales of between $308 and $321m for the year.
