Infineum to build salicylate plant

Bookmark and Share

Additives specialist Infineum is set to complete a new salicylate production plant in Singapore by the end of 2013.

Infineum Singapore Pte Ltd has commissioned the plant, with design and initial build set for 2011.  The plant will boost the company's global production of Calcium Salicylate, which is a unique detergent component used in Infineum's passenger car and heavy-duty oil formulas, as well as in marine oil additives.

The new plant will supplement output from Infinium's existing site in France, helping the organisation take advantage of the growing Asia Pacific market.
