Ghana gains new lubes brand

Bookmark and Share

Ghana's Lubes Engineering and Marketing Ltd has launched Rymco to fill the gap left by the oil majors.

Rymco lubricants will be offered as a range of products including automotive engine and transmission oils as well as industrial, marine and mining lubes.  The products, made in Holland by VPS International, will be distributed by the marketing brand of Galaxy Oil Ghana Ltd.

The company states that its remit will extend beyond just sales and marketing, also offering technical expertise and on-site after-sales support to assist customers with product and grade selections.  The new brand and its distributors will fill the gap left by many of the major lubes producers, such as Texaco and BP,  who have moved out of the country.

The Rymco products meet API and SAE standards and are already sold across 60 countries worldwide.
