Other German marques also continue to enjoy positive numbers, with Audi still retaining its stronghold as China’s number one premium car brand, with its 2012 10-month volume shooting up 31% to 332,959 vehicles.

Porsche year-on-year sales also leapt 63% in November to 2,919 units, bringing January to November sales up to 29,268 units. Sales were driven by strong demand for its Cayenne SUV as well as a stronger dealership network.
