Champion Oil will join the SEMA China Business Development Tour 2014 in the hopes of tapping into the nation's 1.4bn consumer strong market.

The Missouri-based lubricants producer will look to broker relationships with both retailers and distributors in its two-city tour of Beijing and Shanghai.

The Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) was founded in 1963 and represents the $30bn speciality automotive industry. The SEMA tour is conducted in partnership with the US Chamber of Commerce and will be held between the 16th-20th September.  It is designed to provide market information covering technology products for passenger, diesel, racing and recreational vehicles.

During the tour, attendees will get a first-hand look at China's speciality-equipment market and will also meet with selected distributors.

Champion Oil will exhibit its chemicals, lubricants, additives and motor oil offerings at two international trade shows along the tour. The company, founded in 1956, produces more than 350 products including fuel, oil, engine, additives and lubricants for the racing, automotive, heavy truck, agricultural, industrial, commercial and speciality markets.
