US lubes producer, Chevron, has revealed its latest range of hydraulic lubricants.
Revealed at the MINExpo conference in Las Vegas, the new range includes three premium hydraulic pump oils under the Clarity® and Rando® brand names. They each have different characteristics, with Clarity Synthetic specifically designed to work in termperatures as low as -40oC for its ISO 32 Grade product.
The Rand HDZ and HD Premium oils offer high oxidation stability to provide longevity under high-pressure conditions. With ISO grades from 15 to 100, the Rando brand offers a wide range of options, with the HDZ products approved for pump manufacturers includin Denison, Eaton-Vickers and MAG Cincinnati.
According to Chevron, the Clarity range showed strong results in pump efficiency tests, with up to 8% improvement leading to a 5-25% gain in productivity for van, piston and gear hydraulic pumps.
