Fuchs to build a new Australian plant

Fuchs is set to increase its manufacturing capacity in Australia.

The independent lubes and additive producer is expected to begin building a new manufacturing plant in New South Wales in 2015.

The plant will replace the existing Newcastle site, in Wickham, does not have the capacity for expansion. It will be constructed on a greenfield 25,000 square metre piece of land in Beresfield, several miles inland from the Wickham plant.

Set to be operational in mid-2016, the new site will allow the company to significantly increase its production capacity, maintain its experienced workforce and serve customers in the Hunter Valley.
