Top Gear could have three new presenters.
When US lubricants news publications are commenting on the presenters of a UK-based TV car show, the programme's influence becomes evident.
In this case, it's the BBC's "Top Gear", which was recently rocked to its seemingly unshakeable foundations after lead presenter Jeremy Clarkson was very publically fired from the show for assaulting a producer. With the remaining two presenters, James May and Richard Hammond, also resigning along with series producer, Andy Wilman, the BBC is scrambling to find new faces to front the show which has massive global reach.

The rumourmill is in overdrive regarding replacement presenters for the show, which holds the Guinness World Record for the most watched factual TV programme with an estimated 350 million viewers.
The new team could be actor and car fanatic, Philip Glenister (co-presenter of UK Channel 4's "For the Love of Cars" speed merchant and motorcycle racer Guy Martin, who has become renowned for crazy speed stunts, and Classic Car Show presenter and car racer Jodie Kidd.
The BBC is remaining tight-lipped about the new line-up. Meanwhile Clarkson, May and Hammond are set to appear in Australia this summer in a Top Gear-style show without BBC branding. The events will be called Clarkson, Hammond and May Live.
