Regional lubes producer adds a new range of high-viscosity lubricants
As China continues to ramp up regulations on emissions, local lubricants players are responding with increasingly advanced products. Jiangsu based producer Lopal has now brought out a CI-4 product line that includes 5W-50, 15W-40 and 20W-50 grade lubricants aimed at catering to a wider range of vehicles.
The new line will not only meet National IV requirements, but will also service the nation’s growing stream of technologically advanced vehicles. The highest viscosity products have reportedly been able to go 760,000km with only minimal servicing.
The new commercial vehicles line of CI-4 products are designed to withstand long-distance travel in tough road conditions and are aimed at taking on international lubricants producers like Shell, who have also recently invested heavily in increasing their share of China’s lucrative truck market.
