OW - one of the world's largest independent marine fuel suppliers - is launching the new division to supply a range of branded marine lubes on a global scale.  Although headquarters will be opened in Piraeus, near Athens, offices will be set up in various centres around the world soon after.

OW will supply a variety of lubes grades for main engines as well as synthetics for other marine applications.  As well as sales, the company will provide technical support and customer care services, with a focus on lubes monitoring using its Oil Analysis Programme, designed to reduce downtime and enhance quality and efficiency.

Meanwhile in Georgia, Wissol Auto Express, part of the Wissol Group, is to begin marketing Total marine lubricants duty free to international vessels at the ports of Batumi and Poti. Although its parent company is well established, Wissol Auto Express is only a year old, although it now operates the largest chain of auto service centres in Georgia, while Wissol Bunkering provides marine fuels. Total will supply a range of marine brands to Wissol.
