Two French industry majors are set to continue their partnership which has lasted for more than 40 years.
Automanufacturer, Renault, and oil producer, Total, are set to maintain their long-standing OEM partnership with a co-operation deal through to the end of 2014. The contract includes the provision of research and development into high-tech lubes and fuels.
The deal will see Renault continue to recommend Elf lubricants - part of the Total portfolio - for all of its Renault and Dacia networks worldwide. In addition, Renault's Formula 1 engine design and manufacturing operation, along with its Renault Sport division, will be supplied with Elf and Total products and technology and collaborative research.
