UEIL events to offer significant industry insights


Two major UEIL conferences are set to offer the latest insights into different aspects of the lubricants industry.

UEIL logoThe Fourth Symposium on Metal Removal Fluids, entitled Global Challenges, will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from the 14-16 September 2011.  Held in Europe for the first time, the event will, according to the UEIL, "provide an opportunity for participants to gain a unique understanding of the current critical challenges that face the industry".

The Symposium will include speakers from Afton Chemical, Houghton International, Lubrizol, IWT Bremen, Rolls Royce, Boeing, FormaCare and Sea-Land Chemical Europe.  The event will cover three key areas of the industry: innovation (Chairman, John Burke application (Greg Foltz) and regulation (Paul Whitehead).  Lufthansa's Flight Safety General Manager, Manfred Müller, will be the keynote speaker.

One month later, from 26-28 October, the UEIL Annual Congress of the European Lubricants Industry will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  Keynote speaker at this event will be Kevin Gaskell, whose automotive experience includes CEO of Porsche, Lamborghini and BMW.  The Congress will be chaired by Kline's Geeta Agashe and she will also be providing insight into recent Kline research.  Other speakers will come from major lubes organisations including Infineum, Lubrizol, Wolf Oil as well as Sebastian Crawshaw, CEO of lubricants database experts, OATS.
