Renault concept car gets off to a flying start

Renault's concept Kwid is reaching new heights in design.

The company's concept car, first shown at the 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo, includes a "flying companion" - a flying quadrocopter drone.

Designed to be controlled manually or fly autonomously, the drone could warn the driver about traffic jams and even relay live video back to the car, via an onboard tablet.

With its centrally postioned steering wheel, this incredibly modern SUV has front-wheel drive and a 1.2 litre turbocharged engine, but no date for launch.
