A professional version of Facebook is set for launch.
Dubbed 'Facebook at Work', the new social media service will have a scrolling news "feed", "likes" and a chat service, just like its progenitor. Beta-testing began at the start of 2016, with Facebook inviting a group of companies to trial its latest offering.
"I would say 95% of what we developed for Facebook is also adopted for Facebook at Work," said Julien Codorniou, director of global platform partnerships at Facebook.

There will be some exclusive products which will include security tools and paid-for premium services, such as analytics and customer support.
Facebook at Work will join the $6bn online career market alongside LinkedIn and Monster Worldwide.
However, early adopters of the new business-based social media network should take note; Facebook at Work will not include links to Candy Crush and other highly-addictive games.
